UNIVERSITY OF USAK
1 Eylul Campus of Usak University is 7 km far from the city center. Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Science and Literature, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Faculty of Theology, School of Applied Sciences, Usak School of Health, Vocational School of Civil Aviation, Vocational School of Health Services, Vocational School of Justice, Vocational School of Social Sciences, Vocational School of Technical Sciences, School of Foreign Languages, Vocational School of Distance Training, The Rector Building, the library, student dormitories and social facilities are located on this campus.
There are also a student wellness center, a fitness center and scientific research laboratories on the 1 Eylul Campus. In addition, in Banaz, Eşme, Karahallı, Sivaslı and Ulubey counties, there are Banaz Vocational School, Eşme Vocational School, Karahallı Vocational School, Sivaslı Vocational School and Ulubey Vocational School, respectively.
Faculty of Dentistry is in the city center, next to the Uşak Governor’s Mansion building. In this dentistry building, 100-150 patients are being treated per day. Until now, the approximate number of patients becomes 15000 in total. Besides, Uşak University Faculty of Medicine Education and Research Hospital has recently started to service by the collaboration of Uşak Public Hospital and Uşak University Faculty of Medicine.
CITY OF USAK
Usak, which has historical significance and is known as “City of Initials”, is an Aegean province of Turkey and it links Western Aegean,Central Anatolian and Mediterranean regions. It is located at a juncture and situated in the Inner Aegean part of the Aegean Region which links Western Anatolia to Central Anatolia. In addition to being close to the metropolises such as Afyon, Denizli and Izmir, Usak is near the Zafer Airport. Also, it has smooth travel opportunities by highway. These are some features which make Usak desirable. Usak is 211 km from Izmir, 368 km from Ankara and 499 km from Istanbul.
OUR OFFICE
International Relations Office, 30th November 2007, made an application to European Commission, andhas been entitled to receive EUC-Extended University Charter with the decision taken by The Education EACEA – Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency on 20th May 2008.
Owing to this Extended Erasmus University Charter, EU & International Relations Office starting from the academic year of 2008-2009 to 2013 did signed bilateral agreements with the higher education institutions in European Higher Education Are (EHEA) within the frame of Life Long Learning (LLL). Now, the Office has many bilateral agreements for the academic year of 2014-2015 to 2020-2021.
Additionally, it has undertaken the mission of managing the Erasmus process and also supports the participation of our students and academic staff in education, research and training programs within the institutions we cooperate with. The Erasmus Program not only enables students and academic staff to have overseas experience, but also encourages them to take the advantage of the networking opportunity by improving their language proficiency and thus, having a more comprehensive and qualified CV. Since its foundation, EU & International Relations Office has maintained agreements with 60 universities/institutes from 17 European Union member countries.
WHY SHOULD YOU PREFER USAK UNIVERSITY?
The academic activities are carried out with a student-centered approach in our university. Usak University is a new and technologically developed university. Usak University has a young and dynamic staff that makes numerous scientific studies in their fields, and contributes to the economy and industry greatly. Our students specify their tendencies with the active academic consultancy of their instructors beginning from the first year of their education as they effectively prepare themselves for the business life. Our university aims to become a center of scientific and cultural events and it has been hosting many panels, conferences, symposiums, congresses and international scales. Concerts, exhibitions and conversations are organized for the spring festivals which are traditionally held annually in May.

ACCOMODATION
Usak University is continuously being modernized and new places are being built in response to the increasing number of students and further overall growth. It has newly built dormitories, both private and semi-private ones, to accommodate for students, enrolled in Usak University
If the incoming student wants to study at our university for only one semester, he/she should prefer to stay at a dormitory. If the period exceeds one semester, the student can rent a flat together with 2-3 students.
Also, it should be noted that living costs in Usak are cheaper than many other cities in Türkiye. So, an approximate cost which students should expect to spend monthly including accommodation is around 300-350 Euros.
There are also different opportunities for students such as private student hostels and housing. If you have any demand related with these private accommodation facilities, please mention this while filling the application forms that will be sent to the International RelationsOffice.

HEALTH INSURANCE
We strongly advise to our Incoming Erasmus+ Students to get a health insurance from one of the companies located in Turkey. After your arrival, you can have your insurance for health. It is also better to prevent any regulations complications.
